It would be nice to have it drilled for a sump or wet/dry filter (just my 2 cents). It would make water changes and cleaning filters easier.

what is the class thickness? and were did u get the molding/ brackets i am thinking of doing some thing like what you did if u can give me any help would be really great
 
well i got it all at home depo besides glass the molding is connected at the corners with l brackets. glass thickness 1/2". good luck.
