Nice job!!! To bad you live so far away or I would have you make me a stand.
You should make a few and sell them on ebay.

How much do you think I could get?:naughty: Seriously, I wonder what people would be willing to pay.....Plus, I would have no idea how to go about shipping something like this. I'm moving to Syracuse...does that help you? Maybe we could work something out.

Nice job. I wish I had the skill to do something like that. Great reuse of the wood.
I will look forward to seeing it with the tank running.

Thanks, glad you can appreciate the "green-ness" of the project. I was concerned how all the different wood species would look but the gel stain I'm using is doing really well in terms of blending them all. Will definitely post pics of the completed project including tank in place.

Ok, so I delivered the stand today. Thought I'd post some pics of the completed project. Sorry for the poor quality phone pics.

Some views of completed project while still in my shop. Couple shots of the stand in its new home.

Just to guage interest, would people be interested in buying something like this? If so, what would you say would be a fair price? Not looking to get rich, I just can't stand to see how much those store-bought stands (crap!) go for! Thanks for your time and input!

love the stand,
to bad the top part will be covered
