my diy overflow strainers

got the idea to make these from mike dunagan
"thanx!"
and then i added the midnight twist like always

1" 90's and T
2" strainers from lowes
i cut a half inch off each 90 and T so in the end it was 2" smaller then stock
then drilled out the center of the strainer with a hole saw
then i pvc glued them in place
i stuffed a paper towel inside the 90's to keep the strainer lined up
removed paper towel after it dried
i used a small piece of wood to dab the glue in the gaps
im going to paint it black next

Very good idea to cut the mesh out, but they will be a lot harder to clean. I think it looks friggin professional though. A+++++

BTW, don't ever tell Mike your using one of his ideas. It goes straight to his head and then we've got to deal with him. Just doesn't work out for us here in Indy.
