my diy water change barrel

I have a 44 gallon trash can that I fill up with my RO, I heat it and add everything I want to it during the week then I use a sump pump with a 50 foot hose to fill the tank, I think this would be less of a chore then moving your water container.
 
for all you diy'rs thats a big wet dry nice i love it

You could've done it without the pump at the bottom...gravity could have done it.
 
gravity will not lift the water higher than the level of the barrell, if you dont want to use a pump, about the only thing I could think of is a couple pulleys in the ceiling to lift the barrell, so it is higher than the tank height, or have the barrell on a the second floor, and aquariums on the first
