I have to make sure I don't leave any food containers where my dog can get at them or she'll eat the whole thing. There are several diets for dogs made with fish as the mian meat source so I don't think it will hurt your dog in small amounts. I also have to keep a bungee cord hooked to my fridge door my dog helps her self to what ever she wants and doesn't shut the door. If I could only get her to bring beverages and shut the door I wouldn't mind. But after losing several steaks that were thawing when I forgot to put the bungee back on I keep it locked up now.
LOL my fox terrier goes nutso for flakes and hikari oscar pellets too
