kennesaw, ga
me and my gf got our pomeranian last christmas for each other as a present and he's now 1.5yrs old. he's been great, we've house trained him, taught him sit, stay, come, roll over, ect. he's an overall great dog. well lately his knee
has been popping and today he was acting real weird and favoring his other leg so my gf took him to the vet. he got xray'd and they confirmed that he has luxating patella, where the knee cap moves out of place. tomorrow we're taking him to an orthopedic specialist. it sucks pretty bad that he's so young and has this problem. the dr said the surgery will be around $1000, so there goes my 75g i was planning. plus, now he will have a naked leg :( oh well as long as it makes our dog better, its worth it.

Very cute dog. :)

1k is alot, but on the broader range 1k isn't as bad as it could be. I've heard far higher prices for fixing our loved pets. You miss out on the 75g for a while but I'm sure he provides alot of joy. Almost enough to make up for the 75g eh? :)

I spent $3000.00 to totally rework the plumbing of my cat's digestive system 2 years ago.

It's :screwy: what we'll do for our animals.

Best wishes for a successful surgery.

sorry for the bad news. pomeranians are great dogs. if it makes you feel any better in the 5 years i've had my italian greyhound he has made 3 trips to hospital for various reasons and we spent almost 6 grand total. good luck with the little guy, i hope it goes well.

thanks guys, we were expecting it to be around 3k so this is alot better, considering we doing have 3k to spend right now. my parents just had back surgery for their dachshund that was around 5k.

it is worth it to have him better, ill eventually get that new tank. since school will be out soon ill be working more, so ill make the money back from the surgery.

you not get doggy insurance? :D

your dwoggy is cute! u can get another pommy for $500 just get that 1 put down and get a new one

Aw, I hope the litle guy is okay.
