my neighbor also had a...arghh cant remember the name... like a doberman but not as lean, not as muscular, and lacks erect ears... great dog but he died when i was really young so he seemed scary lol
he almost bit my dad once but it was when my dad was feeding him hot dogs lol
his name was Bullet :FIREdevil:
he died of a tumor i think :(
my grandma had a Short Haired German Pointer that my dad found tied to a tree. they also had a mutt named Buffy who started as a stray and followed my dad home...
once a year she would run away and run for a few weeks with her "gang" and twice came back knocked up:WHOA:
my dad and grandma have a LOOOONG history of rescuing cats and dogs:ROFL:
so when ya think about it i carried on the tradition with my rescued Western Mosquitofish and Olive Nerite :D

we got her and then she was diagnosed with Urine Crystals and a Urinary Tract infection...
every so often it comes back...
worst part is, her former name was SUSHI LEE:screwy:
Snowshoe Mix is a cross between Siamese and a few others.

Not true, only the ones with bad breeding. All large dogs are prone to hip and joint issues.
If you get one from a reputable breeder you'll be fine.

And what is worong with hip problems? You can't avoid it so that why you treat them well in their ageing years :screwy:

Our boy didn't show problems until his last months, he was a sweetheart, too. Shepherds are great dogs, they rival my love of pits.
Dobies are as well, but they aren't the best for protecting your house, they make a fuss until the person comes in

Love to see more pics of you pup, I may love big breeds, but I love toys as well, I can't carry Tink(my avatar) as well as my pom mix... Though she may think I can...

Dobermans don't have naturally erect ears. They have to have a surgery to crop them and get them to stand up like that. (BTW, if people actually saw what their dog went through in the operating room for that stupid cosmetic difference (which I think looks dumb anyway), most people who actually cared for their dog wouldn't do that to them. People complained about those people selling kittens with earrings, but chopping off half of a dogs ears for no reason is a common practice?)
