MY DOGGIE WON'T EAT!

He would pick up my dog so he his dog can play with mine. This all started since he's been going over. Now I have to reverse it =-(

btw - tried the trail of food to the plate/bowl but when he get's close he runs away :screwy:

perhaps your dish washing soap has a alergic residue it can detect....? funny how dogs do pick up bad habits....... i had to re potty train my dog after socializing with my bros dogs.......... nothing worst than 3 chihuahua's competing for "King of the Corner"......

Feed that rat to your ATFs and get a real dog :) JUST KIDDING!

The dog probably doesn't like it's face being surrounded by the bowl or the bowl edges touching it. Since pekingnese have the smashed in face, maybe that's what's going on. If you leave the food in the bowl long enough, he will eat it, I guarantee it, no matter how stubborn you think he/she is.

I'm not going to elaborate, but I take care of dogs (and other animals) for a living. I've been around hundreds of dogs and I have yet to see a truly hungry dog refuse food.
 
careful when feeding from the floor, lots of dogs get worms etc. from this habit.

That widdle doggie is sooo cute... J :D

ust starve him he will eat it eventually... get a really shallow bowl to start off...
