Flipping bottles and drink speed....Different comps have different elements.

:duh: Oh I know what you're talking about....all the bartender tricks of the trade showing off some flair.

DOnt settle for getting used to it.Your feet tie into knee, neck, back and other problems. As you age you will start to feel the aftermath of doing this to your feet.Im 33 and did sports, skated and everything else in flat shoes and it turns out since my late 20s my feet are always killing me.I needed a higher arch and more cushioning. So go buy a good jogging shoe or dr approved shoe and take out the crappy insole and instal a nice cushiony one.Take a day when you think the stores wont be crowded and spend a couple hours trying diferent ones on.If you know of a running store then check them out, they know all the tips and can usualy tell if you over or underpronate. They make shoes for either one.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Take my word for it,feet are very importand and they will remember how you treated them down the line.Good luck. The 100 buck range of the sacconys are very cushy.I know thats not how to spell that brand but Im not sure how to,lol.Asic high end stuff is good too.

the only shoes for crews I can find locally are downright hideous, black and clunky and they look like those orthotic shoes for the elderly , which will not at all going to work with khaki capris or even jeans and a tie-die.

I did find some professional crocs online with extra toe protection and non slip bottoms that I am tempted to buy because they are the most comfortable shoes known to man. not much prettier than the shoes for crews but the colors are fun and I love my Crocs!!
Hubby calls me little duch boy.

I am used to 8 hour shifts, I work them standing at a work table at home all the time, or at art shows on my feet for 12 hours or more with no break.

But i have rubber cushion mats topped with cheapo bath rugs at home to work on and I take them to my art shows when they are on concrete.

I think the sfc's are every bit as attractive as the crocs, and trust me, there is no comparison, in a work situation, where footing is key. They have been around forever, so on-line ordering will be no big deal, and shoes ship cheap. They are notorious for running a size smallish and narrow....They offer wide shoes as well...I personally wear a 11.5 EEE .....lol I wear mine ALL the time. I do yard work in them :)

Jason made a good point, with under pronate over pronate, etc...also a good shoe would depend on what you use use as the judging factor to deem it as good such as one with more support, or one with more cushion, or a combo of both.. I bought asics when I was looking for nice running ones, but ended up wearing them everyday as they are comfortable, however I am not on my feet nearly as long as you are daily. If I were you, I would to a real shoe store, tell them your situation, and have them look at your foot so that they can make the best recommendation, although if you look online, they have tests you can do yourself to figure it out.

Two words...STRIPPER BOOTS :D

They'll suck to work in but the tips will make up for it :naughty: While looking for some eye candy for the masses, I came across this:
