My Dorado

I went to the New England aquarium in Boston over my April vacation and they had some huge tarpon in there main exhibit atleast 5'. And you can't forget the aimara has to be one of the big top characin predators.

A 5 tarpon would be a dream for me:) im seriously considering to extend the length of the 20 footer im making to 25 just to maybe be able to accommodate bigger beasts:)

yaaas! of course! I swore that the only hoplias i'dever own is an aimara:) too bad i think they're pretty hard to com? (Correct me if im wrong lol)
 
Not to bad, they just have a bad rep. And in your tank size I don't see there being any problem. And yes, of course they had it in a huge 200,000g tank I believe it was.

Agreed. Getting a good manner dorado IMHO is more important than finding a rarer species. LOL!
