Cichlid newbie, my first Dovii´s.
I had read a little about them before i got them.
Well i wasn't gonna get them so small and i only wanted one male that i could grow out and put in a tank all by himself, but a LFS was closing down and i basically got all 6 that were left for almost nothing so i took them hime.
All are under 2"
Im keeping them in a shallow 4feet tank for now with my Amphuima salamander, wanted to see if they could make it and since i will most likely not be keeping all of them it will not matter if the salamander will get some. The salamander only took one and has left the remaining 5 alone for a few days.
Well enough talking, i took some pictures of them.

How long can they tolerate each other? I have read so much about them "wanting" to be all alone.
I want to pick the most beautiful male (or pair if that is possible) and put in a bigger tank. Its not possible to sex them at that small size is it?
