Great pictures! I kept a large pair of Dovii in a 300 with 6 of their offspring until they reached 6" or so and started to pair up before I seperated them. Never had any problems except when the adults would spawn(about once a month) and the juveniles would get chased away. Their eggs also dissapeared. They're awesome fish!

When they get to the size where he will most likely turn on her at some point because she isn't ready to spawn, I'm going to seperate them. I think the females are a very under rated beautiful fish. I don't want to lose her.
All you ever hear about is the males. Does anyone else like the females also????

I think the male is a real looker. I can just imagine him at about 16 - 18 inches.

Oh yea ur male is really nice. 4 sure its gonna be a stunning fish when it gets bigger. Very nice.
