I will try to get some pics of the fry but whenever I see them swimming a little bit the mother pushes them out of my view! she's extremely protective and smart!
ok, crosses information was perfect, and the "nibbling" on parents, is the fry eating some of the fish mucous, its highly nutritious and has anti bodies like a mothers breast milk basically for the fish.
thats why GSL's like disc shaped fish to graze on the mucous
