My Dovii is soo boring

Put some tinfoil barbs or silver dollars in there to make him feel comfortable. He will come of his shyness. As soon as I added a female and spawned he turned into a glassbanger.
 
Don't mean to hijack the thread, but are the tinfoil barbs fast enough to not be caught by a dovii? Mine has killed everything else I put with it, then gone back to hiding... Little bastard!
 
I do have 1 smaller dovii in with him, pretty sure its female. And i had a few dollars in but he killed off a few and there is only 1 left inthere now. Seems like he keeps the female dovii and dollar at the top. If they go down, he chases them back up.
 
Also somtimes the male and smaller female(think its female), will get close and the bigger male does tail whips to the other over and over and then usually the female will bail out.
 
my male dovii hides but i dont know if its because of me or the female chasing him off. doesnt really bother me because he has superb color.
