My Dovii Update growth rate over 8 months

Yes , in the 2nd spawn...out of the 10 that survived , I gave away 8 and have 2 still left in the tank.....and everytime I go near the tank.....he tries to intimidate me

I bought them as a 2inch juveniles.....and in the time period , they have added 4 - 5 inches ....

Update : they were all fine with 2 of the remaining fry and sailing smooth....but yesterday the female decided to shower her love 3rd time around.....she is currently guarding the eggs and the male patrolling .
I dont see the 2 remaining Fry , i guess , they got snacked.

I have some good numbers of Free swimming Fry......it is the 3rd spawn.
I have one question to ask , expert comments or any comments will be of great help.
After couple of months , Can I introduce a new Female to the male or shall i continue with the existing.
The reason I ask is , will this disturb the peace , where the male will have to re-establish the bond with the new female and also the new female needs to accept the male too
