thanks m8's, my favorite bichir has always been endlicheri but after getting this one im starting 2 feel different, this delhezi is really something and its great that u guys like it. I guess i have 2 post some new pics of it right? :)

Well it happens but very rearly, only sometimes during feeding. Overall i beleve that the key is 2 have good/smart hidingplaces but thats not all of course, there is many factors 2 concider.

Instead of allot of caves n stuff on the bottom of the tank i made high places with driftwood as u can see on the 1st pics, there's like 8-9 hidingplaces/chillin areas for them on the wood setup only, and about 5 on the bottom.

I really rekomend this for all bichirkeepers with interiour. It obviously looks great and they love 2 chill on it. It looks really cool aswell, when on the bottom they look like snakes, on top of the wood they look like lizards :) awsome fish these bichirs are.

Well as i wrote in the begining of the thread, i've been really buisy :D i have gathered all the specimens i have within a period of 3-4 months so the senegals came 2 me in these sizes.

But i can however tell you that my old senegal from a cuple years ago grew up to 8.7"-9" in 7-8 months.

What do you feed them and how big is their tank? If u dont feed them sinking pellets then you should start with it, since i started with pellets my bichirs grow like crazy in compared with the ones i had years ago that i only feed with fish, chrimp etc

I am not really sure if your delhezi is a royal tiger banded delhezi. I always though royal tiger delherzi were more of a zip zag pattern. BTW, you don't have to sell yourself short cuz you don't own a rare bichir. Your collection is still really nice.:)

Yea i remember a friend sayin the same thing, that they get really dark so i guess that its "ugly" dark then and not somethin 2 prefer. I'll go with somethin else then, will most likely be more 2 the redish-brown i beleve.

well i didn't eather but then i locked at this site: http://aqua-bonito.web.infoseek.co.jp/HOME/HOME.html and mine looks allot as the ones they call royal tiger banded but im still not sure. (btw all of u should check the site, amazing pictures)

thanks m8 but i cant help it, i really want them special ones out there and i wont call my self a real bichir keeper before i get them :) its a challange and it keeps me going you know so its a good thing in the end :)

A vid of my tank from about 3weeks ago. Its a very long vid lol.

highlights are 02.00 (the old 10g growout tank with the juvenile bichirs) and 04.50 (i trow some pellets in the tank) sry for the long vid dudes, my next one will be much better i promise.

Most of the cichlds are sold, and also the big catfish (gibbiceps) 2 make room for the bichirs. Ps, the new ansorgii and delhezi aint in the vid
