what kind of bichir is it? i am guessing it is an albino senegal bichir? if thats the case, my senegal eats omega one sinking pellets daily, and it has been growing, i dont rememeber how big it was when i first got it, but now it is 5-6", i love it they are awesome! but no they dont only eat live food.. pics?

My albino did the same as ANGRY INSECT grew fast till about 7 then hit a wall now it just getts fatter. nice pick up enjoy.

Ya i just fed him some earth worms, he's more active then i thought he would be, but he's way more active at night and he goes to the top and takes a gulp of air every hour or so does anyone elses do that

the albiono grow to a max of around 8 inches. This thing is for sure: NEVER FEED UR fISH FEEDERS. feeder can carry killer paracites and when ur precious bichir eats the feeder (guppie), the bichir will get the deadly paracites. My albino bichir is experiencing this too. Guppies have no nutrition vaslues either. sinking and brine shrimp will be good.

the guy at the store is DEFINITELY wrong. you shouldn't even feed him live food unless it's ghost shrimp or worms. feed him frozen bloodworms, beefheart, prawn, cocktail shrimp, talapia, or even better - massivore pellets.
