Goliath, armatus, dorado, vittatus, indo tarpon, Tigrinus catfish, dats, and a nice looking arowana for the top.

Cold water north American natives.

But that's just me.

The thought of not heating the tank is comforting. Lol

I know this is illegal (at least in NY state) but I would love to have a native fish tank. Throw some bass, blue gill, and or pickerel in there with native plants ahhh that would be sweet.
 
I would under stock it and see some natural behavior, maybe a pair of dovis and some dithers.
