Sunnyvale Trailer Park
I was just going through some pictures and realized that I hadn't posted these. This area had been flooded recently and now there are several new trees that are down. There are also three really nice dead trees that are still standing with super nice root systems. My rule is I don't collect until it is down naturally, but for one of the dead ones I think I may look into the legal fine points of wood harvesting. Here in Florida it is illegal to harvest live cypress that hasn't been farmed. You also can't dig up roots in natural wetlands without a permit. This area floods annually and the tree I want will be sufficiently exposed or down in a year or two. I just don't know if I want to risk someone else taking it. :(

Anyway, pictures:

i see some stuff perfect for my tanks and pond...

More pictures. This location is much more remote and has produced better wood since it is off the beaten path. The flooding at the end of last year allowed the manatees into the shallows and they cleaned out the aquatic vegetation.
