It's Spanish moss. I'm in Florida. My listed location is kind of ambiguous but the Mouse is a reference to Mickey Mouse and Disney. I guess this means you have cypress trees in Hawaii then? I'm not certain if mainland volcano's produce Pele's hair or if it is unique to Hawaii.nigaharu;2832123; said:

Oh, ok. I didn't know that. I thought Pele's hair was just from volcanic activity. I grew up calling it Spanish moss so that is all I know it by. I learned something today. 
so please when you have some time PM how you would sell some pieces... worst case on large ones i can arange a truck to pick up..
For big ones, I am limited to what I can fit on/in my canoe. I brought back a few pieces but I still need to get some pictures. I'll list them in the Buy & Sell when I get the time.

Dang, we don't have places and driftwood like these in SoCali. At least... not unless they have a Von's plastic bag wound up in the middle with a couple of beer cans and a piece of last months newspaper hanging on it.
