I just took a few new photos of my eartheaters and thought I would share. These are all in my 210 gallon. I only pictured one of each, but I have three or four of most of them.

They are all subadults (except maybe my steindachneri male, who is starting to be a pretty big fish). It is really nice to watch all the fish mature and color up, I am especially pleased with the way the australis is starting to change.

They are: (forgive any spelling errors, please!)

Acarichthys heckelii
Biotodomo cupido
Geophagus steindachneri
Gymnogeophagus australis
Gymnogeophagus balzani
Geophagus abalios
Amphilophus robertsoni (an eartheater of sorts)
I also included a couple shots of the tank, including my Flagtail Prochilodus. :D

Thanks, he is one of my favorite. Right now he is courting his female like mad, hopefully I'll get some fry soon. I have read anywhere from 6" to 8" for max size. I would guess that 8" is more accurate, mine is around 6" already and is only around a year old.

WOW that driftwood is the best lve seen so far!!!!!!!! How much did it cost u? Your fish are awesome 2!!!!!!!!
The driftwood is Grape Wood from an old Napa Valley vineyard. I bought it at a LFS. It was pretty expensive stuff ($5/pound) but I traded about 90 pounds of coral base-rock for it. The really cool part is that it is full of hollows/tunnels/caves.

Thanks, it is actually four pieces piled together.

Nice. I really like your steiny.
