My ebjd and bgjd have laid eggs this morning

I havent done anything but feed them...my plan was to put the eggs in another tank but they laid them on the tank surface so I didnt...this morning she had went back to her natural colors but this afternoon she has went back to being black and they are doing the mating dance inside the flower pot this time and it looks like her tube is out...can this happen this quick??

Its ok I have all the patience in the world with this pair...I have had this ebjd since may 2012 n he was 1.5 inchs now hes 7 inchs and this is his first time breeding...the bgjd I found on craigslist last month and she was already breeding with a short body texas...I saw her parents and they both were bgjds...I do have a 1inch 5 star general in the tank with them but hes always been in there and still alive...should I remove him??

At its current size, it is no threat. But when it gets bigger (3-4"), it will become incredibly aggressive. It will eventually need to be removed, but when is up to you.

He doesnt really mean much to me he can go now just hella hard to catch...I have a breeding pair of 5 star generals this is the last one from their first batch cause they all killed each other
