My endilcheri won't eat! Help!

It's been 2 weeks since I got my endil and he just won't eat the pellets I gave him every single day!
He's now all skinny but not sick and he's been always hiding behind some bogwoods.
He usually comes out for a few times when it's almost midnight.
What should I do?Should I try feeding him some bloodworms first?

What size is it? Bichirs wont starve themselves to death unless very ill.

Try feeding it eaw tilapia fillet chopped into small pieces that can easily fit in the bichirs mouth. If that doesnt work, try raw shrimp or earth worm.

What pellets are you trying?

It's about 4 inches and I'm using some local bought pellets as here didn't sell hikari's as far as I know

My endli is a stubborn eater as well. Mines only active when the lights are off. I place market shrimp under the cover of darkness and the moonlights throughout the tank to feed it. He just won't eat when the lights are on

But mine won't eat at all..I'm not sure why.
Btw,is rapid breathing meant by a few times a sec?Cause sometimes I saw him breathing once a sec.

get mini crawlers from walmart or a Baitshop. Just the right size for your endli, night crawlers are a bit too big and strong for a small bichir
