Don't see why you're unable to keep endies while being able to rear the rest alright. Unless you keep getting ones that aren't so good at the start.

but sorry for your loss, its always depressing when one's fish dies.

well i don't know why you start to ditch on me but ok...i know the reason why that particular endlicheri died. I fed them shrimps, after 10 minutes i fish out the remaining food. It turned out one piece of shrimp got swept behind my heater. The endli ate it a day later i guess and got a food poisoning. He went sick and showed typical signs of poison...i tied to help him but it was too late. My other endlicheri died from internal parasites as they were in quarantine after i purchased them.
