My ExCICLASOMA ISTLANUM Spawning

Finally my Istlanum decided to spawn.... They're guarding the brood from Festae of various sizes. Infact, two of my Festae are threatening to spawn aswell in the same tank.... Now thats gonna be interesting.

Thanks...

Got them as tiny fry from a shop called Fish Alive in Durham. UK... They were unknown fry at the time and I managed to identify them from the father who was in the shop (the females had died). I was given about 60 fry to raise on by the shop owner (as he didn't have the time to raise them properly) and then when they reached 1" I gave back most of them and reared the remaining 10 to about 3".

No they've all gone but the shop in Durham still has a few juveniles and of course if I raise these successfully you can have some of them.

Very nice, love the breeding colors. You must have seen my "skulls in fish tanks" video on you tube. skulls make you tough.
