The white perch are invasive species for some reasons. Super aggressive when it comes to feeding. But they are super wussy, can't handle the aggression from other fishes such as LMB or peacock bass. Seen a mature white perch got killed by a central longear sunfish. Do poorly in aquarium if being kept as a solo and hates poor water quality. Get spooky easily. These reasons are why the white perch and their cousins do poorly in home aquariums.
