this product is kinda expensive man.

i prefer to go to lfs and get some biomedia or sponge filters to help a new tank cycle

I've heard that this works fantastically; I am just afraid, however, of picking up some nasty parasite or something. Plus, Turbostart cycled my tank in 2 days with a stingray in it after I somehow wiped out the biomedia from the previous cycle. It worked like a charm; I hear that Biospira does just about the same thing.

i prefer there is no need or reason to cry about things and just do them method, i guess another term is K.I.S.S (Keep it Simple Stupid).... a pond and tank are in no way different...something to rot is what ever is around a coral, a piece of fish, some shrimp a cichlid that pissed me off and got a saltwater ice bath... its what ever...

Somehow that wouldn't surprise me one bit. :screwy:

Some fish just have it coming to them. :FIREdevil

Update. Day 15 of the Turbostart test run; ammonia is still at zero, and nitrates completely flatlined on day 9. Daily water testing still indicates no change.

Note: Bioload was once again increased by adding a second reticulated river ray. 3 full-range water param checks were performed the same day and one the next morning, one of which was after a session of heavy feeding. Water is still perfect.
