anyways to get on with the show, lets move onto my third fish...a flowerhorn!
Piqued by the Oscar and the Devil, i started looking for more predatorial fishes and my cousin in the states was going on about something called a Flowerhorn and how it is a maniacal killer...so yea FHs became No1 on my wishlist...
Really was at a loss out here since most LFS out here had not even heard of a FH!!! As far as most places were concerned Oscar's were the most aggressive fish they had seen!
Anyways finally managed to find a LFS far away from home who had a tiny specimen! Joy oh Joy!
Got him for a then princely sum of Rs.75 [roughly $1.5]

Well do not have then pics of him but here are a few snaps taken a few months back
He had been in many tanks with many tank mates when finally after he crossed Puberty or something he went all Mad Max and well had to confine him to solitude albeit with a couple of Plecos to keep him occupied...
After almost 5 years he got the bends and never did really recover fully from it and well he soon died...
