Just figured I'd post a few pics as it has been a true struggle to get these fish. Sorry for the bad pics, but the lighting in the fish room is horrible. I need to get some lights going.

Both have tons of personality

First off is the Male:

Second is what I hope is a female, but time will tell.

You should. Of course, I like the older strains, which can be difficult to obtain.

I received them Wednesday of last week. W@as glad to see the only damage they received was broken trailers.

looks good, he needs visine, for red eyes lol

I'm hoping to have a M/F pair here and that they are both fertile.

yes i should ...when i look at them i just love their beauty.... and then i love their monster attitude along with their looks..good luck with your new guys...

Nice! I'm glad you finally got what you were looking for. Where did you end up finding them? I just saw that Julie @ www.flowerhornsfrombeyond.com posted a bunch of nice Thai faders for cheap and was thinking about you.

Both of the fish have lots of potential but I think they would look better over a dark colored substrate and a dark background and they would show better colors. I'm sure you already know the good foods but I'd recommend something with a lot of krill for orange fish. Pump them up and give us an update they have a lot of room to grow.

I picked these up off of a guy on flowerhorncraze.com. His screen name is iceman4242. He gave me a great deal on them and worked with me on getting them delivered to a shipper.

As far as the tanks.... they are in holding tanks right now. I will be reworking their new tank just as soon as I get out the current inhabitants. The larger one just started eating on Saturday, so right now I'm focused on keeping bellies full. They are being picky right now, but once they settle in, I will switch their food.
