My Faders

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They are both very nice. Ya, it takes them a while to eat. It took Bud a week to start eating, now he doesn't stop, lol.

As of this weekend, I placed a divider in the 125 and now have them both in the same tank. The seem to be taking interest in each other. I will eventually cut a hole in the divider to make room for the female(?) to get through. I'm hoping to see some egg laying before I do this though.

Well, I pulled the "female" out of the tank yesterday to see if I might be able to vent her. Sorry, no pics as it was a spur of the moment decision. But.... if I had to make an educated guess, I would say that it is a female. Although I have yet to see eggs from her. I guess it's just a waiting game.

Figured I would update this one with info as well.

The pair are right at a year old.

They are unrelated. Acquired from two different breeders.

Update as of today. I took pics before vacuuming and cleaning the glass, so bear with some of the debris.

Very nice. Good luck with getting some wigglers. :)

Well, I forgot to mention that I haven't seen a bit of breeding behavior. I'm afraid I might have two males. It just so happens that I picked up some fry this weekend. Hopefully I'll get a female out of those.

the second one looks female try removing the divider for a 30 min then redivide them

Really, you think so? I removed the divider a couple of times before. The big guy was definitely interested. The small one.....not so much.
