that is a dick thing to say. The tank water is crystal clear and the parameters are great. Personally, I like having algae on the back glass so I do not have to see the wall or the filters.

Yeah, really! It's only unsightly algae. The fish doesn't care about it at all. Only harmfull to the human eye. As long as the water changes are large enough & often (50% weekly), the algae is only a matter of astetics.

When I put crayfish in the tank he actively hunts them. It took two or three before he learned the correct maneuvers to avoid being pinched. Now he is a pro and its all over quickly.
