Oh ok you know all fish different my first dovii didn't get real mean until about 6-7 in mark this one was around 4 in and snapped I came home and everyone in the tank was hiding and on one side

Im going by color and body shape. For me gray/blue body with blue fins and face is nic. Goldish, yellow body with some blue in fins is costarican.

Nice looking Dovii! As for Nic or CR kinda hard to tell at this point from the pics, I have only had CR and IMO CR have more of a blue in the face and fins with a white to yellow base on body and Nics have more of a purple hue on the body with greenish blue fins.
