I know that I have NEVER seen a mare that tall...I have rarely seen a few 17hh mares but even thats an uncommon event. I know with my boy its a whole new perspective to be riding him because Im so high off the ground...hes a good ft taller than his QH mates and Id say 3ft wider 
His nickname around the stable is "tank", but he is rather graceful for his size suprisingly.

I love your "Tank" and i am sure alot of people are amazed by him.. the big guy has presence and eloquence and because of that awesome size he must stand out in any crowd..many happy trails to you both!!
