nice pics, ime some jags can be aggressive from small size all the way to adults to were festae or more peaceful at small size then when they get big wham mean as all get up. thanks for sharing

that looks more like a female festae. females can have the spangling also. look at the dorsal fin on the festae. females first third of the dorsal are either black or blue like the one above in his pic. males have all red on their dorsal fin. plus if its 8 in already the male should begin to lose its vertical bars.
look at the pic in the buy and sell someone is selling an 11 in male festae. you can see the difference.
