My Filter smelled like cologne while servicing

Never had a tank that smelled like your description ?
Seriously most well established filters may smell light earthy like garden soil smell. I also have a aquarium that smells like wood.

Yea it was so strong had my eyes watering as I chased my husband with the bucket screaming it didn’t stink it actually smelled so good it must’ve been abnormal and he was clueless as to why but said I could water it down bottle it and then make millions call it Perseus a Fishmans scent LOL ?
