I am so sorry, that does not look good. I hope the situation is better today. I, at one time, had 3 eels. A zig zag, a tiretrack, and the fire. I only had the fire for about a month, just long enough for it to get settled and start hand feeding then it developed some kind of white cotton coating and died within 2 days, boo hoo. The tiretrack almost lasted 6 months was growing fine hand feeding then one night it wiggled its way out of the tank and I didn't find it till it was crispy, boo hoo again. Lastly my zig zag, the smallest of the 3 still alive and kickin. By some miracle nothing has eaten it, no infections and has not found a way to escape (fingers crossed). I would love to get another fire eels but am learly due to the amount of sudden deaths that I read about. It seems they are most suseptible to diseases and more fragile than others, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, good luck.
