My Fire is eating pellets.......woooooooh woooooooooo

Hey Taz, yeah, I know.....I used freeze dry krill to trick mine....Cut the krill up to the size of pellets and threw it in with Hikari Gold floating pellets......still isn't eating them regularly but it will damnit. hahahaha.

Hey Ewok, naw man, the fires I picked up were a 1 time thing, never saw them before and haven't seen them since, he only had two in the tank and i picked them both up....Gary had the female now.....the shop I picked them up at is now closed down...it was on the eastside by Poly High school.

There are some pikes for sale at Toms, I think they are Johanna's though.....could be Vens but they are really dark for vens. If they are Vens, imma go look again today and i'll let you know.
 
I need to get mine on that diet Taz. I wonder if I get mine on pellets, then give him some live or froozen as a treat, will that mess up all the training and have my pike go back to not wanting pellets for a while.
 
Having a few other fish that eat pellets in the tank with your pikes helps a lot.
 
yeah I do, but my pike usually just looks at them like they are stupid for settling....hahahaha. He holds out for the froozen and live a lot....but with this small break through, I hope that is going to change and he will have better colors and more rapid growth

how big? I think Toms has some by me, imma check it out this weekend.

Still can't believe you did this. You split them up!! Females almost ALWAYS look better than males as well. Oh well...lol. Hopefully Gary is loving her!

Venezuela will have the 'v' in the caudual fin, as well as an ocelli at the base of the tail. Johanna will lack both of these traits...;)

Ah, thats for the ID help Peanut, that actually helps alot man. I need to go take another look at them.

Hey PP, I kinda had to split them up, the male was simply out growing her by to much, she was down two inches on him when they were split up and I didn't want her to become a victem, he was starting to harass her a little to much for my liking. Maybe she has grown a lot since being picked up by Gary.

Im gonna ask him for an update.
