My first ATBA

Neat idea, now just add a face plate too the canopy with a plexi glass window.

there already is acrylic up top. the whole open part up top is inclosed with it. its just scratch free for the time being and hard to see. i was only going to do a half tank canopy thing but thought it would look weird and also now i dont have to worry about the turtles getting out anywhere. plus it gives me the option of making the landing bigger.

looks nice. Just make sure that you are giving them UVB over their basking area.

I wish i had a snapper. How long do you think a 40g breeder would last one thats around a inch and a half long? I just need to find one first =p

well in another thread someone said in the first year from a hatchling it grew to 4" so mine will outgrow the map so he will be going to the buddies pond once i dont feel comfy with them being together.
