My first attempt at HDR photography!!

Gave this a quick try with some shots from my front yard. Took 7 shots and different exposures and merged them via HDR (high dynamic range) using Photomatix. i really have no idea what i was doing but i think it came out great for my first attempt!!!



Here's an example of the shots that went into the final image. I'll definitely be using this more!

What settings did you use for the four shots?

i took 7 in total, this is just a sample. what i did was set the camera to program/auto, the read the aperture and shutter speed. i then set it to manual and used the settings from the auto mode and set white balance to cloudy. the guide i read set not to leave white balance at auto.

i then took several shots at different shutter speeds. the first one was at 1/40. i went down to 1/1.6 and as high as 1/1600. i dont even know if that was the right thing to do lol
