I'm not creating hybrids with what I have available at the moment.
I seen a picture of a midas mixed with something that had spangling like the carpintis, and it was amazing looking. It looked like a midas with pearling, but it was very faint, and kinda sparkled.
I want to see if I can create something like that.
If they turn out ugly, oh well. Fish food for other fish.
I do have Cubans that I can breed, as well as barred midas, severums, nicuaragans, eartheaters, Jags, RT's, Carpintis, frontosa and I am looking for a Male RTM because those are the 1 fish that I really want to breed.
So, I do have many different fish that I can pure breed, I just want to do this once to see what happens.
The only fish that have ever bred before that I had were JD's... so this is just something fun and interesting to do. I have a camera that I want to hook up at their tank that has night vision so I can record how the whole process goes, just to see the whole ordeal.
