My first cats!!! mini cats!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I tend to leave my lights on allot..and only feed when lights are on, they have been coming out more and more during the day, but the tank is not very bright and there is allot of cover...really loving these guys^_^ more pics and videos to come!.

they have been eating everything! ..and growing fast.

l little update ..they are growing soooo fast!!!!
they eat anything that goes in the tank, omega one flakes, frozen blood worms, frozen brine shrimp, frozen krill, sinking night crawler pellets, live black worms, and live night crawlers.
this is the same fish..the other one is larger!.

Very nice! I have 2 myself. It's funny...I remember when these guys were readily available. They were even being sold at Petco (where I got my first 2). Then they vanished:( I never saw them around anymore for the next 10 years:eek: When I went to go visit a MFK Vendor, I couldn't pass them up. I got a trio, but one died a year later...the other 2 are still kickin' I got a Male and Female, but I can't call them a pair since I haven't really noticed anything different in their behavior indicating a possible spawn. They remind me of Sharks when they swim around;)

This is there current tank..
6 w/c steatocranus tinanti
2 wood cats
and some guppies....pic was taken just after a water change..so everyone in the tank was busy cleaning out there caves.

If it's a male, the front of the anal fin will look like it has a thick front ray. Females just look normal.
