Are these fish in a plastic storage tub? That's not going to work. That's a disaster in the making.

Yeah, they are, and I guess I'd be a disaster in the wrong hands, fortunately I got some good experience with plastic tubs for bringing up fry and small baby fishes. They'll probably be there for at least 2 more weeks, then I'll transfer them to a 75gal then a 250gal and eventually to the pond with the arapaima.

Nice fish I hope they grow fast for you. Whats size tank are they in?, I know you mentioned keeping them in a smaller place till they get bigger but, it would really speed up there growth if you gave them the largest tank you could put them in and water around 84-86 as well as power feeding to help them grow faster to go in with your big fish.

I will! A bigger tank is already cycling.
