My First Cichla, or Two Grow Out

what were you feeding them when you first brought them home? Nice fish btw, i just picked up a couple yesterday!:)
 
Tried BW. No go. So I went with treated rosy reds. Eventually i killed the rosy and they took it dead. Then I cut the rosys in half and then they took it. Now they're on chopped silver sides.
