My first cichla! Orino trio...

nice! way to start off the cichness IMO, rapps and rich's orinos are from the same spot, the Rio Meta in Columbia.

well...for the longest time orinos were not available at this size. then all of the sudden a wave of tiny orinos floods the markets, all at the same size, give or take a 1/4". Rapps was finally able to confirm the collection point of these orinos from his shipper, which was Rio Meta. then rich and a few others got in on this and imported orinos from the same source. and rapps still has over a thousand of these guys

I hope you're right bro, I saw that thread someone posted with a pic of an orino from rio meta, and man the blue color on that thing was already poppin at like 6"

When Rich got in some true parrot cichlids, he said they were from columbia, so I'm betting you're right.

he's growing them out a little. they were smaller than his 1st batch, maybe the size of rich's. he didnt want to risk it w/ shipping
