Havent really got them to eat yet ut hes getting protective of his old lady. The ray is like and overly hyper active 3rd wheel never ever seen a fish eat like him.

Well the water must be to there liking there spawning as we speak.

Thanks man, theyll nake good offspring might have to set a second tank up and grow some put if they get that far. There aggression is pretty low some slight chasing of the ray but not enough to stress him out. I feel like moving the log to one end of the tank so they just claim that end rather then the middle.

So moved the log last night to take some heat off the ray. Things seem peacefull now he keeps venturing up there and getting chased off. The eggs are still clean and attached to the driftwood. Curious do they eat less when breeding? The female hasnt eaten for a week and the male only banged a few white bait today. Could be they have only been in a week, first time keeping them always presumed theyd be pigs haha
