My First Dat! Thanks for the addiction MFK. :D

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The more dats= more stable and less aggressive. But as said before, not always. But to prove my case, when i had 5 datnoids, they were not aggressive. Now i have 3 and they are very aggressive. I am picking up 2 more for this reason and some others. Nice North thailand tiger datnoid.

I totally agree I have 3 of them, and they are constantly chasing each other, but at least I got them eating a stable diet of market shrimp stuffed with granules. I'm going to pick up 3 more the week after. I absolutely love these guys. They are addicting.

Agree with all of you... Must get more! :D

Quick question. Were ITs super cheap a while ago? I keep seeing people in the forum having tons of small ITs.

Idk haha I got my 3 small borneo tiger dats for $60 at my LFS, but I have heard of small dats being sold as low as $10.

At the moment there is a flood of NTTs in LFS here.
The price for 3~4" ones are approximately $20.

I have scoured many LFS for ITs and STs but there just doesn't seem to be any. Probably all exported! :D

Congrats on your first datnoid. Your Northern Thailand Tiger fish looks great.

NTT's were the first species I have 4 of thoes. I also have 14 baby Indo babies that I am raising atm. When I mixed my 3.5-4.5 NTT's in with my baby 1.5-2" IT's, the IT's were extremely stable. However I did remove the NTT's back to the main tank cause the grow out tank was too small for them.
