I just got my first Indo Tiger yesterday. I kind of consider it a rescue because I was told by the previous owner that he was feeding goldfish and hot dogs!!! I'm not doing that so what should I try first? He ate some brine shrimp last night but of coarse payed no attention to the pellets the other fish ate this morning. Any input on this fish would be much appreciated I payed $35 dollars for it.

Nice lookin IT. I fed mine frozen mysis shrimp and tubiflex worms until I got them to accept market shrimp. I'm starting to pellet train now and two of my dats take it with out much hesitation. Personally I've found if it's "fishy" they go for it, otherwise the starvation method works pretty good as well.

nice datnoid. dont feed him brine shrimp on a regular basis but if you want him to feed on pellets i got the best way for you.
Try to get him on market shrimp. once he's on shrimp cut it to pieces the right size for him dont need to worry how big it is they have HUGE mouths, now stuff in 2 pellets in to that cutted shrimp (i used new life spectrum 3mm sinking pellets. great way to go) do this for a month or so (i have done it only for 2 weeks). after that month is done starve him for 2 or 3 days and try to throw in some pellets. my datnoid eats pellets now :) i'll post up a video if you want to see. good luck

try some all types of bloodworms and some blackworms buddy :) im still trying get him on shrimp but only my pbass are on it

ya not looking good like he was at first. he is real dark in color and hangin at the bottom of tank!!!?? I'm doing a 40% water change right now!!
