It's finally time for me to upgrade the enclosure for my Blood Python. Currently she is in a 40gl aquarium, later to be used to house the koi from my mom's pond. I am building it from 3/4'' plywood with a hinged framed viewing front either plexi or acrylic. I got most of the materials to make progress. I will try to upload pictures as much as possible to keep down the frustration of the fellow MFK'ers.

A few pics of the progress.

Thanks
I wanted a way to wipe the floor easy so I used laminated flooring that was left over from a home project.

Looks like slate or stone :). Looking good so far. Are you going to silicone the corners of the floor for better waterproofing, or leave it as is?

It's suppose to resemble slate. Yea I'm going to seal the corners. I applied Drylock to all inside and edges bought gray and added a little more black to darken it up.

Looking good, but why build it so tall?
I didn't really think of cutting it down. Looking now I probably needed to cut off 4-6''.
