Oh yeah. I live in Abilene. It's not that I couldn't afford one either I don't have the room for one right now. My garage is divided by a wall that needs to be torn down. One of these days I'll get around to it. When I do I will have another 6 feet sideways, and 15 feet lengthways. As of now my workspace is about the size of a sheet of plywood. literally. The rest of the space is tools, and workbenches.

I think a nice stain would look very good
its what i did with the stand in my 4 yr olds bedroom for her tank of guppies

I thought about that before I bought everything, and I decided not to, It's not really an option now because the plywood I bought won't stain very well at all. I went cheap on the plywood, because I can prime, and paint it, and it will look just as good as if I did it to a piece of solid hardwood.
This was also a test bed for my stand building skills. I have a 125 that needs a stand, and I think now I am going to build it myself. It will be made to stain though.

ANyone know where I can get a lid for this thing also. The dimensions are

30" wide x 18.5" tall x 12.25 deep

is this a standard size??

Well I finished the canopy tonight, all I have left is to paint, and get a hood lights, and filter for the tank, and I'm all set.

Beautiful job! I would also suggest either a light blue/sand combo, or possibly a light green/white.

Where did you find the fish shaped door hardware?

Looks incredible.
What is she putting in it? Maybe match the color of the stand/canopy to the fish colors.
