saw this little guy at petco. didnt want the average joe or little kid buying it and killing it, so i broke my budget and snagged him. tell me what you think. will a 55 be ok for life?

Verry cool. I just got my first EBJD a few weeks ago and it's been pretty rewarding so far. As long as you can keep it healthy I think your gonna be pretty happy. And, as far as your tank goes, a 55 should be fine. Congrats man.

ive seen some that get 8" just a heads up ha but should be fine in the 55

Ha ha ha good ones. To say they only get 5" is wrong but they are slow growers.

ya they definitely get more then 5 inches I have had mine for about 6 months, got him at less then an inch, now he is about 4 will post a pic when my camera battery charges in a few.
